Let me introduce myself

I am Samuel, a Business Administration graduate from PUC and a Teaching Assistant in Strategy in the MBA program at UC. My analytical skills are strong and I am proficient in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, R Studio and SAP. Additionally, I am fluent in English (C1 level) and have basic knowledge of French and German.

My professional experience includes working as a Corporate Market Intelligence and Research Analyst, where I developed comparative analysis, worked on pricing strategy and created multiple reports. Additionally, I have experience with commercial developments using machine learning algorithms to optimize discounts and communicate insights. My experience in both the automotive and waste management industries, combined with my strong analytical skills and knowledge of various tools, make me a well-rounded professional with a solid foundation in both business and technology.

In addition to my business and technical skills, I also have a creative side. I am experienced in designing logos, webpages, products and games. I have a strong understanding of user experience design and am skilled in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Blender. My ability to combine my analytical and creative skills allows me to approach problem solving from multiple angles and come up with unique and innovative solutions.

In my most recent role as a Market Intelligence and Research Corporate Analyst at Derco, an automotive importer and distributor, I was responsible for product analytics and the development of data sheets for various car brands. I also worked on pricing strategy, creating monthly periodic reports, and automating certain tasks using Tableau. Additionally, I was involved in master data creation and shipping import tracking.

Lastly, I also have experience as a Business Development Analyst at Rembre, a waste management company. In this role, I was responsible for commercial prioritization of business development in new regions, evaluating recycling machinery import projects, and using data analysis and machine learning algorithms to optimize discounts. I also founded and led a virtual reviews platform called WikiPUK.cl, which aimed to provide students with accurate and experiential information about available courses and professors at the Ingeniería Comercial program at PUC.
